Mission Statement

At Fermanagh Fun Farm, our mission is to create unforgettable experiences where families and visitors make lasting memories in a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment. We are committed to giving rescued and adopted animals a loving home for life, meeting the highest standards of animal welfare. We strive to maintain excellent standards of health, safety, and cleanliness throughout our farm, while fostering a positive, supportive workplace for our staff. We are proud to support adults with disabilities by providing meaningful opportunities to gain formal qualifications, helping them build confidence, skills, and a brighter future.

Objectives

Visitor Experience

  • Provide a welcoming, family-friendly environment with high-quality facilities and activities.

  • Ensure all visitors feel safe, valued, and supported during their visit.

  • Regularly review and improve attractions, services, and feedback to enhance visitor satisfaction.

Animal Welfare

  • Meet and exceed recognised animal welfare standards at all times.

  • Provide appropriate housing, nutrition, veterinary care, enrichment, and daily monitoring for all animals.

  • Ensure rescued and adopted animals are never rehomed and remain cared for for life.

Health, Safety & Cleanliness

  • Maintain robust health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments.

  • Provide regular staff training in health, safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures.

  • Ensure all areas of the farm are clean, well-maintained, and suitable for public access.

Staff & Workplace Wellbeing

  • Foster a respectful, inclusive, and enjoyable working environment.

  • Provide training, development, and clear guidance to support staff in their roles.

  • Encourage teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.

Inclusion, Training & Qualifications

  • Provide meaningful work placements and learning opportunities for adults with disabilities.

  • Support participants to gain recognised qualifications and practical skills.

  • Work in partnership with relevant organisations to ensure appropriate support and progression.

Community & Education

  • Promote understanding of animal care, welfare, and responsible farming.

  • Engage with local schools, groups, and organisations to support learning and inclusion.

  • Operate responsibly, ethically, and sustainably within the local community.
