At Fermanagh Fun Farm, we are proud to be more than just a fun family attraction. We are a social enterprise with a clear mission: to rescue and care for animals in need, provide them with a home for life, and create meaningful opportunities for people of all abilities to learn, grow and gain nationally recognised qualifications

What Is a Social Enterprise?

A social enterprise is a business that exists to make a positive difference. While we operate commercially like any other business, our profits are reinvested directly back into our social and community goals, rather than being paid to private shareholders.

Rescuing, Rehoming and Giving Animals a Home for Life

Animal welfare is at the heart of everything we do. Many of the animals at Fermanagh Fun Farm have been rescued, rehomed or adopted from difficult circumstances. Some arrive neglected, abandoned or no longer wanted, while others require extra care due to illness or disability.

We believe every animal deserves safety, dignity and love. That’s why we are committed to:

  • Providing a permanent home for life

  • Ensuring high standards of care and enrichment

  • Supporting animals with physical or behavioural disabilities

  • Educating visitors about compassion and responsible animal care

Our animals are not here for profit – they are family.

Supporting People with Disabilities to Thrive

Fermanagh Fun Farm is also a place of opportunity. We proudly support people with disabilities and additional needs to develop skills, confidence and independence in a real-world, supportive environment.

Through our partnership with Killideeas Day Care and local schools, we offer programmes, were participants can work towards nationally recognised qualifications in:

  • Animal Care

  • Hospitality

  • Gardening and Horticulture

  • Performing Arts

These qualifications open doors to further education, employment and personal achievement, while helping individuals discover their talents and passions.

Learning Through Experience

Our hands-on approach allows participants to:

  • Care for animals and learn welfare standards

  • Gain hospitality experience in a welcoming setting

  • Develop gardening skills while nurturing green spaces

  • Build confidence, creativity and teamwork through performing arts

We believe learning should be inclusive, practical and empowering – and our farm provides the perfect environment for that to happen.
