Social Farming Project

Our program offers adults with disabilities the opportunity to engage in meaningful, real-life work experiences while gaining formal qualifications. Participants become valued members of a supportive community, enhancing their mental health and well-being, building confidence, and reducing social isolation.

Social Farming

Our social farming project, where the welfare of our animals is at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated team plays a vital role in looking after them, from feeding and mucking out to setting up enrichment activities and providing essential medical care.

Alongside their daily work, our team members are also working towards their Occupational Studies Level 1 Award in Animal Care, gaining valuable skills and qualifications while making a real difference to the lives of the rescued / adopted animals in our care.

Community Garden

Coming Soon: Our Community Garden

We’re excited to share that a new community garden is on its way! This space will provide volunteers with the opportunity to grow a variety of plants, flowers and vegetables, nurturing both the garden and their own skills.

The plants grown in the garden will be used to create beautiful hanging baskets, while the vegetables will be harvested and sold to the local community. It’s a wonderful way for volunteers to see the results of their hard work and share them with others.

As they work in the garden, our volunteers will also be working towards their Occupational Studies Level 1 Qualification in Gardening and Retail, gaining valuable experience in growing, maintaining, and selling plants while contributing to a thriving community project.

We’re excited to announce that our new Community Café will be opening on Fridays!, from March 2026. This will be a welcoming space for locals to enjoy delicious food and drinks, all prepared and served by our amazing volunteers.

Volunteers will gain hands-on experience in a variety of café tasks, including preparing food and drinks, serving customers, setting and clearing tables, and following essential food and hygiene guidelines.

While contributing to this vibrant community space, volunteers will also be working towards their Level 1 Occupational Studies Award in Hospitality, developing valuable skills in customer service, food preparation, and teamwork.
